I have really bad luck dating, I only ever meet men who just want sex and it has become rather dull. I have met a couple of nice guys and would like something to develop with one of them, how do I keep them interested?
I am not a teenager (30) I am just really disillushioned with the dating game.
Playing those games like the first person suggests is a great way to get a guy interested, the problem is, if you find someone like me, I’ll be interested, but I get fed up with all those games extremely quickly…
first, just don’t have sex to begin with. if you have sex befor you know you like the real person underneath, then the whole relationship will be about sex.
Next, just get to know a guy… Sex will come later…
oh, and have fun, and be yourself.

-We were on-and-off for six months
-We broke up because I wanted a serious commitment, he wanted a casual relationship
-We stopped talking for two months.
-Meanwhile I’d see him online everyday, he’d have messages that read "I miss you" and "Baby I miss you."
-He IMs me last night, says he wants to meet up
-He than says "I miss you."
I did the stupidest thing possible, I said: "Yeah…lol…I haven’t seen you in awhile."
A half an hour later I message him once more, saying: "I miss you too and I do want to see you."
We were supposed to meet today after classes. I called him when I was in the area that we were supposed to me.
He stood me up. I left him a voicemail, just one voicemail.
I’m so mad that I messed everything up now. I still have feelings for him and it’s driving me crazy now.
ADVICE!?
Walk – Run – Drive Away. Guys who really like you (or even just plain respect you) NEVER stand you up!
He’s made his feelings perfectly clear. Don’t IM him, don’t IM him back, don’t call. Walk away with some dignity. Men are cowards who would rather chew their own leg off than tell a girl straight out that they’re not into them anymore. Even nice guys, cowards.
Getting over someone takes time, that’s just how it is. He’s over you, you’re not over him, sucks but that’s what you have.
Take time to heal and I promise you there is a great guy out there for you.

you should call him or IM him and ask him why he didnt show up. there could have been a misunderstang or something really important came up. if not, then stop talking to him, youll get over him. if yes, then try coming up with a date again. if he still doesnt show up, i wouldnt call, im, text, voicemail, look at, EVER!

back in feb 2008 i met this guy over bebo he was same age as me and was my first relationship we kept talking for few months then decided to meet up. we started seeing each other more and more and as it was a distant i lived up with him. he promised me he loved me and wouldnt ever leave me. i decided to go down to my parents for my brothers birthday and stay until christmas which was 6 weeks all together .from then it all went down hill and i still dont know the reason why he wanted to leave me but the one thing that hurt me the most was he sent a email to dump me after speaking to me on msn saying how much he loved me. i suffered a years depression over it and was a total wreck and made a load of mistakes . but this june i decided to go on a free dating site i thought it was risky but went for it as all i have wanted is to be loved by someone and i started talking to someone who lived in the same area as me as i moved back to plymouth after splitting with my ex . i was being careful but after a few months we met and been together 4months now and i couldnt be happier. i just wanted some advice on how i can completely block the past out and bring in the future as i get times where i get so upset and angry i dont want that no more .
Well, I still feel the same way like you after splitting up with my ex almost a year ago (the day before thanksgiving last year). It was really tough on me, and thank goodness i’ve been with a new guy now for 8 months and couldn’t be happier.. but I still have those hurtful feelings toward my ex and what he did.
Maybe its because we are emotional people? I’m not sure. I just believe it takes time to heal wounds.

So i was going out with this girl for 2 years and eleven months. For the past year i will admit that i didnt treat her the way she diserved to be. She broke up with me about 4 weeks ago, but when she did we decided to go on a break instead. She said she needed time, and needed to clear her head. So me being the impatient person that i am, I sufficated her with love letters, texts, phone calls etc. So eventually she said "im done with you, you havent gave me any time at all, I dont want anything to do with you" I try to tell her that i will change my ways, but she doesnt seem to care, she just gets angryer when i try to talk to her. I havent talked to her since she told me that, its been about a week. Any tips or advice on what to do now?
you need to give this girl space! she will never miss you if you are always in her face, calling, texting, iming, whatever.
the only way to deal with a woman who breaks up with you is to give them EXACTLY what they ask for! as soon as a girl even hints with me that she is bored, confused, unsure, or whatever, I GIVE HER NOTHING…
NO ATTENTION (this means no calls, visits, whatever)
NO GIFTS
NO LETTERS, NOTES, LOVE POEMS, etc.
NO giving her messages through her friends
NO NOTHING!
The best way to "UNCONFUSE" a girl is to leave them alone! if they want to close the gap, THEY will make it clear they want to spend more time with you. If you chase them, they will keep running!

Visit http://www.NoBreakUp.info and discover exactly how you to deal with your, or your partners, emotional infidelity.
The topic of infidelity is a frequent topic with couples experiencing relationsip problems. When most people hear the terms ‘cheating’, ‘infidelity’ or ‘affair’, they almost always think of a passionate, romantic, physical relationship. And certainly many people do engage in physical affairs borne out of immaturity, acting out of hostility and even sexual addiction.
What is less understood however, and at times can be even more threatening to a long-term relationship than a physical affair, is emotional infidelity.
