Stop the Pain of Break Up NOW Before It's Too Late!

The one you love and you fell in love with and he/she broke up with you. how do you recover from a broken heart?

I just broke up with the guy I was with for 3 years he is also my sons dad. We were planning to get married next year but, things didn’t work out. What I do is hang out with my friends and go to get-togethers to meet new people that way your mind isn’t always thinking about that person and it makes it easier on your heart.

What hobbies or places i can go to ease my mind off of her? Im trying to get my head right for finals next week but i keep on thinking of her…
and No getting back with her is not an choice so please dont say that.. thanks

Working out always helped me through breakups. Do something physical, like punch a punching bag, or ride a bicycle. I think that doing something that keeps you focused on the task at hand is the best.

Maybe after finals join a club, or volunteer. Doing something like that will help you meet new friends and keep your mind off your breakup.

But I don’t think that anyone can quickly recover from a relationship that meant a lot to them. If it was meaningful, then there will be pain. Just take things slow and be happy with yourself completely before you start dating again.

Our baby is 6 months old. My ex-boyfriend left me when our baby was 4 months old. He also said that when I was still pregnant he doesn’t feel the same way anymore.

Its going to be very hard. Especially since your going to have your baby with you who will constantly remind you of him. You have to think about your baby now. Your baby will bring out all the strength you’ll need to over come your pain. You probably wouldn’t want to be with someone who doesn’t love you. Try to avoid seeing him and talking to him unless the conversation is strictly about your baby. This way you can try to get over him faster. Good Luck! Stay Strong!

My girlfriend just broke up with me this morning. I need to find some ways to get over her. We’ve only dated about two months (which sounds short) but we did so many things together. It’s hard to let go. Any ideas?

First of all, it it was a serious relationship, it usually take about double the time you dated to be completely over him/her (as in not picturing a reunion or anthing) First of all, give yourself a week to mourn it, look at old pictures, write an angry letter to her that u burn when you’re done, listen to songs that remind you of her. Then, get out of the house, get sexy, and meet new people (esp. cute girls). DON"T try to get into a relationship for at least a mo. or two. Be young, have fun and good luck! It will get better!

About a month ago, I had a sad breakup with my girlfriend. I’ve been heartbroken, and have felt lost since the breakup. I have had relationships before, but I have never felt like I was with somebody so perfect. It’s harder to get over someone if they are a good person. I have tried to date once or twice since then, but they just remind me of how much I’ve lost. What makes my situation harder is that I have to see her every day; talking or even looking at her makes me feel miserable. Are there any ways to ease the pain? How long does it normally take to get over someone you cared deeply about? Please help! Thanks!

well i would say take some time for yourself and read a good book. or just relax yourself. you had good times with her but they just decided to end. you will get through this and will meet someone new. Try not to look, talk, or think about her or your depression will just get worse. Ask some friends if they’d like to get together and play football, basketball, or whatever and just be hanging with the guys. You may not be able to forget her but you can get over this loss.
