I broke up with my boyfriend according to him he was totally in love right just before he broke up with me, its been only three weeks and on his myspace says that he’s "starting to enjoy himself again" I still dealing with the break up pretty bad and not able to move on yet. How could he move on so fast?? any ideas?? you think he wrote that on his myspace just for me to read it and give the impression he’s having lots of fun?? please help
I can only speak for myself but for me it is tough.
I returned from Vietnam in 1970. The woman I left, the woman I loved had moved on while I was ducking bullets and dodging mortar rounds. Seldom does a day pass that I don’t think of her. I mostly wonder if she is happy. I hope so, I let her go because I loved her, not because I was angry. Perhaps if I had been angry it would have been easier. I did marry and I have children but I also have the demons that was that relationship. I am now approaching the end of my life and still those demons haunt me. It would not surprise me if she was the last thing I think of in this life.
You may want to move on in spite of the situation; not to hurt him but maybe to help yourself. You are the only one who can make that decision. I hope you can rid yourself of the demons, they are very heavy baggage and they will always be there. It is a matter of whether you carry them with you of if you can store them safely away in the attic of your memories.
Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 7 months and 20 days.. until yesterday.
He broke up with me and left me stranded.
He practically ripped my heart out and threw it on the floor,
and stomped on it a thousand times.
I just.. want to know how to recover because I can’t stop myself from crying.
I still love him, but I guess he doesn’t love me..
So how do you recover from a break up?
I just want the tears to stop..
Take your mind off the guy. Involve yourself in things that will keep you busy. Now is the time to focus on the things you would like to do but did not have the time to do before. In short, move on.

The two of you need to get away from each other. One of you needs to move out so that you have some time apart to get over each other.

I guess it is normal to think of the ex after break up, but how long can you tolerate that? Like, if he still keep telling you bout how she cheated on him, and showing you her emails and his emails to her……………… =’(
i think it has to do with the person and how close you were to that person.

I broke up with my bf of 9 years today. How does one recover from it?
Eat ice cream, watch sad movies, be depressed for an unknown amount of time and someday it ends up ok. just remember that the things that happend when you were ten arent the most important things, with time everything changes and feelings lessen. you’ll be ok.

Oh my gosh!!! I was in a relationship with my "best friend" for almost 12 years. And then he decided he didnt want me in his life anymore..So the pain hurt badly and it took me almost 2 years to get over it. couldnt sleep ,eat was depressed all the time..for me it was BAD!! ..I do however think about him every now and then.but thats normal. but you do have to move on and enjoy your life.before you know it that special someone will come into your life and sweep you off your feet.

accept the situation.
don’t fantasize.
go with friends
do some exercise
biking
tell your family members about the break up or tell friends whom you trust
don’t eat extra, it will make you fat.
don’t got to a place where you and your ex frequented
etc….

I just broke up with my bf recently. We have been together for almost 5 years. But, now he doesnt love me anymore. I am extremely hurt. I dont know what to do and how to recover.
I agree with the first answer…Now is time for you to move on with your life…My advice is to get out with some friends and or make new friends and have fun..Trust me, your BF is not sitting at home thinking about you!!! Before you know you will have a new BF in your life…Just take your time.

ok, we were together for 8 months and during those 8 months we had broken up 4 times… and she decided to break up those 4 times, the 3 time really hurt and the last one is kicking in and by kicking in i mean that music, smells, places ect. remind me of her… what can i do to ease the pain a little? help me!
the best thing to do is try your best not to think about her. that sounds silly i know, because EVERYTHING around you reminds you of her.
maybe instead of listening to country music which maybe she loved, you could try listening to rock music for a change. or getting out and hanging with your guy friends, and trying to warm up to a new girl.
she kept hurting you it seems, so it might be best to push her out of your mind and don’t let her know you miss her. Act like you’re having the time of your life without her.
You won’t get over her in a day. Like i told my friend who was with this one boy on and off for 2 years….. it gets easier and easier everyday. Just take it one day at a time. Before you know it, you won’t even remember why you made such a big deal about what’s-his-name. (or in your case what’s-her-name).
good luck and stay strong

i’ve tried running which is ok but what do you think works the best that you’ve tried?
When I went through the toughest break-up I was seriously depressed. I wouldn’t stop crying and I wanted him back so much, but then I thought about it long and hard and figured out I was better off without him.
What I did not to think about it was I bought a load of books and just started reading, then I started writing my own stories and books.
Just do something creative or relaxing. Take up a sport that requires more thought (archery is a good one) Or (might sound weird) but pole dancing, or belly dancing. It really helps you confidence and it works wonders on your body!
I hope this helped
Good luck!
