What does it mean when your ex keeps talking to you even though she has a new boyfriend?
We broke up in November and she said she likes to keep her ex’s as friends. But when she talks to me and says hey and I respond with how you doing, she responds and says nothing else. Expecting me to talk to her. WTF does this mean
Either she still likes you or wants you to still like her. Personally, i see no reason to keep exes around as friends. Waste of time usually as one or both people are hurt, angry and/or don’t want to be around each other–let’s not pretend that we do, right?
So, if you don’t feel like being friends or putting forth the effort she wants you put forth, don’t. Stop responding back to fill up the silence. Let the silence go on and on. If it’s uncomfortable enough for her, she’ll stop talking to you so much.

I kept friends with my ex only because I thought it was safer. Sometimes others keep in touch so if they do not find someone else they can go back if you are still talking. I would tell her it is completely over, no friends, no lovers, no future.
