What’s the best way to recover from a break-up?
Especially if your partner’s also your best friend and you’ve been together ten years. And the reason for the break-up is not because you’ve stopped loving each other, but religious differences.

Time. If this person is your best friend well keep them as your best friend. 10 years is a long time to just let go and not even worry about. It will take a while to get over what happened. But eventually it will. Don’t just jump into another relationship though. Let yourself get over this one first. I am an atheist and my boyfriend is a believer. I do not believe but he does. My children do to. We have been able to put aside the fact that we do not have the same beliefs. Everything else we basically have in common. I am sorry that you could not put your differences aside.

When your boyfriend came in to your mind, think different things like remember things you have to remember for exam so hard, so you can think different things.
