How long did it take you to recover from your break up?

Oh my gosh!!! I was in a relationship with my "best friend" for almost 12 years. And then he decided he didnt want me in his life anymore..So the pain hurt badly and it took me almost 2 years to get over it. couldnt sleep ,eat was depressed all the time..for me it was BAD!! ..I do however think about him every now and then.but thats normal. but you do have to move on and enjoy your life.before you know it that special someone will come into your life and sweep you off your feet.

It take me a long time. It depends on if I was attached to the guy and how much fun we had. If we did a great deal of things and had fun together traveling and doing activities it takes longer.

The first one? We were together 6 months. That one hurt a lot. The girl’s parents broke us up. Took about a month to get over her. The first cut is the deepest. After that they get easier.

i have found that it usually will take me at least half the time we were together to get over her, and sometimes a little more, or a little less.

I have the wonderful ability to forget things or people that are unpleasant. Cry: First of all you have to do one of those sloppy booger cries, you know the kind with snot running down your chin and it comes out of nowhere or while you are watching an episode of America’s Most Wanted. Get even – imagine walking in front of him with the most handsome guy in the world who adores you and you telling him "sorry, I am so over you." Anger: Write him a letter and tell him his penis wasn’t really as big as you said it was and you never even had a orgasm you just faked it. (You rip the letter up of course do not give it to your ex). Then you take up salsa or something that will occupy your time and each time you feel a thought of him coming on you bust a move…. oh gradually erase anything that reminds you of him, keep at least 1 picture someday you will barely remember his name – but you have the right to mourn the lose sweetie.

…….pssst if you know someone that has an Uncle Vito – that works also.
