Does closure help to move on?
When it breaks up, the relationship broke.
Why closure is important for some people when they already know the relationship is over? Or, they just want to get their ex back?
You know the saying, when a door closes another opens…yes, closure in your mind does help you to know that there will be another.

closure is important more than anything to let the other party know that this is it and it is over. Call it a final feelings party? It is a good night to say what went wrong and what is planned for the future. Are we talking? Are we still allowed to talk? Any chance for physical contact? etc…etc…Great chance to see where you messed up also. If you do not learn from your mistakes then you will just be in the same convo very soon so use it to be a better gf or boyfriend!!!!!

Good question. I would like to see what answers you get. Some people can move on and just say "good riddance" because they have high self esteem. Others though, have low self esteem and seek answers to deal with the rejection.

Closure helps to eliminate any false hope that a chance still remains. Sometimes without it the other may think there is still a chance. Without telling someone how you really feel they may be left wondering.

I think if you really were in love with someone. For what ever
reason Brock up. Closure can help put things in prospective. So you won’t always be wondering if it’s really over. With closure you can move on with your life and find someone who deserves you! : )
