Do men recover faster from a break up?
I broke up with my boyfriend according to him he was totally in love right just before he broke up with me, its been only three weeks and on his myspace says that he’s "starting to enjoy himself again" I still dealing with the break up pretty bad and not able to move on yet. How could he move on so fast?? any ideas?? you think he wrote that on his myspace just for me to read it and give the impression he’s having lots of fun?? please help
I can only speak for myself but for me it is tough.
I returned from Vietnam in 1970. The woman I left, the woman I loved had moved on while I was ducking bullets and dodging mortar rounds. Seldom does a day pass that I don’t think of her. I mostly wonder if she is happy. I hope so, I let her go because I loved her, not because I was angry. Perhaps if I had been angry it would have been easier. I did marry and I have children but I also have the demons that was that relationship. I am now approaching the end of my life and still those demons haunt me. It would not surprise me if she was the last thing I think of in this life.
You may want to move on in spite of the situation; not to hurt him but maybe to help yourself. You are the only one who can make that decision. I hope you can rid yourself of the demons, they are very heavy baggage and they will always be there. It is a matter of whether you carry them with you of if you can store them safely away in the attic of your memories.

Everyone moves on at different paces. and yes, he probably just put that on myspace to bother you.

if what he said was true, then he is having just as hard a time as you are.
My honest opinion is that he has moved on after 3 weeks. That is a long while and most guys recover by then.
But i still think he put that up so you can read it. If you are thinking about him because of it, then what he was trying to do is working.

man usually move on faster then women because being a man is not showing signs of weakness. This makes males always present a strong front in the eyes of people and recover quickly from a breakup. Those who just ended a relationship or given the news from a female can just erase it from the head and meet someone new in just a few weeks.

Aww dont let it bother you,i think men do sometimes but normally they are just as upset but deal with it differantly,
he may of done it for your benefit so you would see it or he may just be happy sorry, either way your best bet now is to NEVER look at his profile again,not ask about him and get on with having fun yourself,
you probably think yeah right easy for you to say but honest soon enough you will be thinking What was i so upset for????

some guys recover fast and some take years. i had a girl friend that just broke up with her bf 3 months ago cos he is in love with another girl. after the guy broke up with my friend the next day he delete all the photo he took with my friend and up load the photo that he took with his new gf on facebook. when my friend saw it she cry so badly and nearly kill herself. dun be too upset ur bf did it after 3 weeks is not a big thing to upset lor.
