How to break up/tell bf that i still love my ex?
I really like my bf, but i keep thinking of my ex
is it wrong to still be with him when i love my ex? or should i give it a bit of time
i’m so confused and don’t know what to do
The best thing is to sit down and talk to your new bf about your feelings, tell him that while you like him, you still love your ex. Explain how confused you are and ask him for some time apart to get your head and heart straight, if he is a decent person he will respect your honesty and your feelings even though this may hurt him to hear it. It is not fair to him or to yourself to be in a relationship if you are still in love with someone else. When you have figured out what you want to do ( try again with your ex or put your ex behind you because it can’t work or whatever happens) and you are thinking clearly call and tell him what you have decided to do. I have the same situation. I’d just say forget about the ex. I began a friendship with my ex, but it only made me feel worse. I’ve been with my boyfriend for like a week now, and I still really care about my ex. But, thinking about the ex will only make things more difficult. Believe me, it will be hard. I keep listening to songs that my ex told me about and it makes me sad again. However, we have to move on!
