I have a friend that has a goldfish. Sometimes when she comes over, she brings her goldfish and they have playdates. They're friends too. Doesn't the color gold just look so good on them? They don't even cost that much. All you have to do is feed them, and put them in water. And the best part is that they can't drown. Oh my god, one time, when I was little, I had a goldfish. It died. I was crying. We had to flush it down the toilet. And then I got another goldfish. I won him at the fair. Guess what his name was? His name was Fishy! I've found the ones that just talk to me about it are the ones I stick around for. You don't need to whine to him and blame it all on your shyness, but just asking him to talk at a quiet but not intament place should work. Basically just sit him down and tell him that you are shy but have other things to offer and will continue to grow more 'confident.'
