should i stay in a marriage where i am 80% of the time unhappy? i can be alone it has nothing to do with that cuz he is in the army and i am always on my own when he is deployed. he is deployed right now. we have 2 kids and i want to know if i should stick it out for them and try to make it work or leave while i am young. he also feels the same way as i do cuz we talk about it all the time. divorce has been brought up twice before to where i have even gone to a divorce lawyer. also we have been married 7 years. help i need some advice please.

Should a man have the right to complain, when he is informed that his wife will leave him, but he can see his baby daughter every weekend and does not have to pay child support or alimony? I was planning to go to a baseball game. my girlfriend coaches the team but today in school i was trying to make plans with her for the weekend and she started begging me not to show up for the game. I asked her several times why she doesn’t want me to come and she didn’t answer. now I’m all confused so should i still go or not.

(now two weeks ago when the game was scheduled she couldn’t wait to show me off !)

My boyfriend works 80 milles away and works sometimes long hours…I am considering moving in the town he works so we can be closer but really love livng in our home town, where I work. I will not move there and commute, but would look for other employment. I don’t know if I should just stay home and let him continue to commute and have to accept there will be nights he won’t come home due to time and miles. Any advice?

You need to think if this is really the guy you want to be with for the rest of your life. If not I highly don’t suggest you do that. You don’t want to drop everything for some1 you don’t know is always going to be there.
But this is a really big decision that is ultimatly yours to take, you do what you think is best don’t let anybody tell you what’s right or wrong. It’s up to you

I just finally ended a 2 year, very rocky relationship. Any tips for moving on? We lived together so I was so used to having him around and now I feel like I don’t know what to do with myself. I need to keep busy so I don’t let him back in my life this time!

When a relationship ends in my life, good or bad, I always try to maintain this attitude:

The relationship ending is possibly the best thing that ever could have happened to me.

This does not mean I’m bitter, resentful, or regret being in the relationship.

I’ve had great relationships end simply because we both agreed we didn’t have the makings of a life long commitment.

So….if you take the attitude that the relationships end opens the door to an infinite number of things you couldn’t of had while in the relationship……

something amazing happens….

yeah, you can still miss them, be hurt, sad, etc….all the normal things that come with the end of a relationship.

But at the same time, with the above attitude….the stars begin to align, you become aware of all the new possibilities that await, and you find great joy in a variety of things you would never have known should you have stayed in the relationship.

Granted, easier said than done. But, what other "healthy" way is there to look at it?
